I get an ashtray-like tobacco note that dominates. This is like an 80s powerhouse fragrance. I love it. Haven’t gotten a compliment yet.

The scent development on this is incredible! Been wearing this for the second time since my sample ran out so bought the full bottle and I can't believe how amazing this is! That "3D" citrus opening is so realistic but the drydown is where this bad boy shines! BTW, have you tried the Pierre de velay line Dave? Some absolutely incredible frags there and slowly becoming my fave Roja's. These and Scandal Pour Homme Cologne have been the biggest surprise for me lately

good review. i think the scent itself is a 10/10. however, it literally disappears on me within 20-30 minutes. that's not an exaggeration. it makes Oceania and Elysium look beastmode in comparison! i'm usually never one to complain about longevity but this is ridiculous. it seems to be a fragrance made entirely of top notes. (and glorious ones they are!)

I love your facial expression whenever you sniff a Roja. He's the ultimate... Can you review Haute Luxe ROJA and Diaghilev? I am still yet to watch a reviewer in fragcomm review them completely. Words seem to fail all those I have watched who have attempted.
