Wow, I would've have never expected you to mention La Roux, Chromeo or Rancid. As far as synth pop goes, you should check out CHVRCHES and Purity Ring if you haven't heard of them. CHVRCHES are a more shimmery, 80s-influenced group, while Purity Ring have hip hop aspects to their beats with an overall sound that borders between cute and dark. I feel that the first albums by each of those groups are their best.

you should check out the 1975 if youre into synth pop. there are certain songs like M.O.N.E.Y, fallingforyou, and UGH! that i think youll like
