EU4 Mutapa is one of the best nations for expansion out there. It has really unique missions and even a formable - EU4 Zimbabwe! However, Mutapa is probably better than Zimbabwe. Definitely good for spawning renaissance and colonialism, though Kongo and Kilwa do make for formidable vassals. Mutapa is one of the strongest and best EU4 nations in Africa - I'd highly recommend them to play next!

first of al, the conquistador from your missions is to discorver the cape, secondly you also recieve a colonizer frowm your missions to colonize the cape, which means that exploration is useless. and also, pls do continue, the 1500's is where zimbabwe really starts to scale together with their ideas and "controlled gold mining"

Only problem on those African countries was that in my tries sometimes Spains go full metal, ally Portugal and crush me when i have 2/3 of africa. But on other hand I think that there was some nerfs to colonization for AI becuse Spain is not popping off like before.
