Would a snake venom, Rattlesnake or the like, be used the same as Rabies Virus? Rattlesnake Venom attacks central nervous system and therefore the brain. Please answer either way. I have recently been diagnosed and I am researching it.
Also, we believe mine was caused by a water contamination, where my family moved to while my Mom was entering the 3rd trimester of her pregnancy with me. I was born in December of 1970. I recently heard it suggested that gluten actually crosses the blood brain barrier as well as "leaks" from the gut in people that are sensaitve to it. Perhaps this could be of help.

Wasn't successful viral delivery in mice in the past shown to cause brain tumors in humans? Perhaps they were delivering something else, but it still gives one pause.
