from results point of view the zoom is an incredible feature...the different perspective of a normal or light tele lens lets it stand out from the standard wide angle lens shots and offers a range of creativity that's unique in this weight/price class.

I have to say this is looking better then I thought. I like the shooting modes, low prop noise, flight time, upward facing camera, size etc. Lack of obstacle avoidance is not particularly of a concern but would be good to include as well as shorter charging time - but not a deal breaker. I was going to upgrade from my Spark to Air but more research is now needed. Thanks Ben.

I still testing the Parrot Anafi but I can say the Gimbal and Zoom have changed, from my perspective, the way we look from the air the world and even our way of flying with the drone when compared to Bebop 2 or Disco. That horizon, though. Seems a universal out of the box issue with this drone. Also, filming at speed introduces characteristic jitter you'd expect with digital stabilization. I love how quiet it is, the 180 degree vertical camera movement is cool, you never see the props in shot, and the picture quality is decent.

I love the features. I can see DJI updating the Mavic with some of those software features. Hoping they make some quiet pros for the Air though. But we need companies like this to compete with DJI. Hope they succeed because that's a win for the consumer.

Thank u for the time spent in your reviews AT. As a drone user, my main 3 concerns are:
1. How good is the WiFi connection? (latency, reliability and so on, range is secondary).
2. How reliable is the app (DJI4 App crashes too often and is a pain in the ass).
3. How good is real battery life (flying and filming).
Please take those into account when comparing with Mavic Air. For first time flyers those auto settings, obstacle avoidance and so on might be interesting, but it will be nice if someone talks about the core features of the drone for more advanced users like the mentioned above.

Nice review! Can not wait for your image quality comparision. I'm stuck between Anafi and Mavic Air. Anafi seems a lot quiter than Mavic and have better image and video quality, but Mavic air is proven great and I can have it from a local store for 890 EUR for fly more combo - It's a bargain hard to let pass.

How safe is the smart return to home feature since it has no obstacle avoidance? It returns in a simple straight line? What if there is a tree on the way?

For a small drone do a comparison with the spark. And if you use the follow me mode can it dodge a tree while following you? ( i mean if i use this mode while biking in a forest would it crash?)
