Eye to Eye with Buck Deer hunting bow from the ground Bow Ninja

While bow hunting from the ground for whitetail deer, I had this small buck walk in and I was almost able to grab him by the horns. These are some of the best experiences while hunting deer from the ground with a compound bow. Yes, sometimes the deer will snort and stomp their feet but I am okay with that even when a New Jersey Big Buck gets spooked and runs off! Its all part of the game while hunting deer from the ground in the open with little cover.

Just found 1 of your vids, now just been through all of them, love your work out in the bush, I been shooting now for a year. Havnt been on a proper hunt yet, did at first but learnt quick to train so to speak, I can now stalk animals within 10mtrs, after a year though, got all the camo I needed, make my own blinds out of surrounding bushs and trees..havnt had a decent shot at anything big or within range for a clean kill.i shoot 55 lbs compound, twin blade broadheads, just curious on what your set up is like?

I love it !! That's why we do it Other than playing the wind what cover scent if any do you use . I don't use much but when I do it's usually debris from the area boiled and allowed to steep that I use

Yeup this is exacly the way I hunt people don't believe me when i say deer get so close that I could nearly spit on, them love that you got this on film so I can show my tree stand friends that I ain't talking bullshit, , people say oh if they are that close they would smell you. Nope just look at this buck here never even knew he was there actually turned his back to him. Scent controll is over rated it blending in and being quiet and very still. That's the biggest difference, , , and getting a good spot, , ,

That deer has been handled by humans when younger. It acts just as a 1 1/2 year old does on a "Deer Ranch"..

That's awesome. I'm 16 and have been trying to kill a deer from my ground blind with my compound bow for 2 years now. Still haven't killed one.... it's not my sent that's getting me I think it's my blind not being brushed out properly.

That's why I hunt I purposefully funnel the deer to me I like to have some type of obstruction so they don't walk straight into me
