I am a firm advocate of evolution but looking at Ken Hovind I do find it hard to believe we all have one common ancestor.

I actually think that the life comes from a rock metaphor is kind of appealing. Not highly accurate perhaps, but then it’s a metaphor. Life is what rocks invented so they could get up and walk around. That works for me.

I think Kent Hovind is proof positive that some of us are still dumb as rocks, so there’s that.

Observable evolution certainly has merit, the rest of it is just an "educated guess" however the biggest flaw in evolution is the origin of life, that's why creationism will always be superior theory
