Today's vocab recap

Initially, I thought you gonna use technical words.

Being neutral in a conflict is not always a right thing to do.

A lot of people these days take advantage of having anonymity to do creepy stuff.

By watching every single episode of this series I can ameliorate my vocabulary.

If I tweak my schedule I can get more time to watch other videos such as "pronunciation".

Kudos - kudos to both of you for today's 6 minutes English lesson.

I just want to ascertain if I have used today's vocab words in appropriate way.

I use the internet every day. Internet is so important for me, because I browse the right information, download films and music, I’m chatting with my friends, parents and teachers. Sometimes I tweet and I upload videos on YouTube

I use the internet for the first time to check BBC learning English web site. I remember me understanding almost nothing and trying so hard to memorize the key voc. each week on the hope of being better listener in the future. I still even remember the BBC's recommendations of The Blue and Westlife songs in order to improve our English skills. So, yeah I think the internet is super useful as without it I wouldnt be making living out of my English language skills. !

My summary while listening
The main topic is the Worldwide Web, often known as the Internet, which is one of the most significant technological developments in human history. One big question is mentioned in this program which is "Is the Internet generally positive or negative for the world?"

Berners-Lee, the father of the Internet, initially, believes that Internet giants have to be neutral, just be a platform where people can connect and share information. However, they don't actually work that way. Besides, people have anonymity on the Internet so this brings out the nastiest side of people.

That being said, Berners-Lee does have suggestions on how this situation could be changed. Specifically, the problem could be ameliorated by tweaking the way people give and receive kudos. For example, Internet users on certain websites could receive more kudos based on their constructive comments or positive actions.

I think Internet has its own pros and cons. I disagree with the issue people have been growing up through the internet. They're becoming introvert. Owing to the internet, people rather talking on a virtual life than having a small talk face to face. This is pivotal situation must be taken into consideration because new generation is losing interactions.

I get confused by someone that said: There are people who's list that I'm on. Isn't who's short for who is? But if I say there are people who is list that I'm on, it sounds wrong. Can anyone help me with this please?
