262xp V 560xp 60cc chainsaw battle! Husqvarna Factory hotrod or Autotune ?

I love this 60cc small chassis class of saws. (the missing link is the 357xp.. will get that out next time!) in this video I run Husqvarna 262xp & 560xp side by side and compare the factory hotrod 262 chainsaw against the Autotune 560.

Had a nightmare uploading this.. so here are the times. sorry I was having computer isues so couldnt edit them into the video.

560xp = 15 secs average

262xp = 18 secs average but bigger knottier wood.

Like you I got my 262 xp absolutely knackered, the con rod was destroyed, ended up finding a 257 and using the bottom end outta that.. But my god, it's an absolute hot rod, it's my go to saw for medium stuff, one of my fave saws of all time.. Cheers

Hello James, the Husqvarna 262xp it is the Queen, the best chainsaw on 60 cc, you need to ajust the carb to 262xp! I got my colection my chainsaw:Husqvarna 262xp, Husqvarna 372xtorq Oleo-mac 971, and holzfforma G660! But for me Husqvarna 262xp the best chainsaw!😊All the best mate ! Good luck!

my first husky was a 555. Still running it 7 years on! We used 550's and a 560 at work for years.

I’d really like to have a 262XP but people want crazy money for them. That and I’ve got 20 or so saws, seven of which are in the 60cc class. Just put together a 61 with a 162 top end, 266XP carb and muffler. Very strong runner for what it is.

I've no experience of either saws, the 262 sounds like it needs some work or a good tune. I'll have to get a 560 to rebuild got all the factory tools to cover it so why not 🤣 👍

Had a 262. One of the best saws ever made.
A 562 came after that and we never got along.
I always had a feeling that I was running something fragile.

The old school saw if you can find one, it would be good to try this again with the new Oregon Pro full chisel chain.

Both lol!! Have origional 261 that I xp'd into 262, and a new 562 I had mastermind work his magic on. Also sporting mint 346xp I had Walkerized and a 550xpmk2 I had mastermind work over as well. 346 hands down my FAVORITE!!

New 7900 Dolkita also, gutted muffler n 2nd port. replaced my 372 w it. No comparison, 7900 heluva strong saw
