Update and correction. I assumed the rehaut was painted or coated; however, it is a plain dark blue chapter ring that is attached to the dial. The movement, an NH35A produced by Seiko's SII factory, runs between +1 and +5 daily; I speculated the movement would break in, and the accuracy would change. I was correct. I installed the new easy 'toolless' (if you will) adjustable clasp without issue. It elevated the watch even higher, making it a formidable opponent to watches costing up to $1K. It is not that much bigger – or heavier – than the standard clasp. After removing an additional link to accommodate the new clasp, it only weighs an additional gram – 136 grams.

With BGW9 Swiss lume, 120 uni-click bezel with ceramic insert, single domed sapphire crystal with AR, solid link oyster style bracelet complete with female end-links, one-piece screws, and a 'toolless' clasp, an NH35A movement, 200m WR, screw down crown, and exceptional finishing, this watch is beyond a bargain; especially when compared to what the competition is offering. Very few, if any, watch manufactures are able to provide what San Martin does at these prices. I highly recommend San Martin. I will definitely be purchasing another.

Hey man great review, they make a green version of this watch but it's in a sub style merc hands etc, also watch out for the gmt of this watch you were talking about as it's bezel has an issue it clicks 24 times but only the dive bezel part moves and u want a dive beael to move 60 or 120 clicks, just a heads up👍

Hi! Found your channel when searching revievs on Glycine 39mm. Now started to think about this SAN Martin with the new matt bezel.🤷‍♂️🤣
How do these two watches compare in your opinion? Great reviews on both. Thanks!

Nice review. I ordred mine from WatchDives and recieved it at the beginning of July. Mine came with the coin edge bezel with the matte blue ceramic insert and on-the-fly clasp. I like the gear cut bezel like yours, and I have the original SN004-G that has the gear cut bezel. The triple signed logo looks sharp and is well designed. I have seven San Martin no-dates and the branding is from all the different phases of their existence. I enjoyed the various logos and at the same time respected their choice. On my OG SN004-G I had them print a custom logo denoting that it is a U.S.N. Bureau of Aeronautics test piece. It also has the killer shark on the crown that I would nevr replace. Glad you have a very nice version of a great watch!

There is a lot of attention to details with this watch. Your video captures it. I think the logo even matches the snowflake hands, so all is good to me. If you are going to take the watch to do some serious work the clasp is not going to be the weakest link. You may want to consider swapping out the springbars for stronger ones, or use a Pelagos 42 type of watch with fixed strap bars. Nice review, keep going.

Hi, you describe the blue dial as glossy... My version is a matte blue...
Yours does look glossy in this video which I would prefer but I'm not sure if that's just the lighting, can you confirm please? As if the glossy dial is now an option i woll order 😁

I hate the San Martin logo. It seems like something terrible from the 1960s.
