Put in your year and model vehicle. It will show if this will work for your application. Now, this kit here will provide, a four-way flat trailer connector, the back of your vehicle to power your trailer signal lights. It is compatible with five pole, six pole and seven pole adapters that we do sell separate on our website. And this kit does connect very quickly and easily.

All you have to do is locate your connection points, which will be in the rear cargo area. It does come with a set of instructions that will describe where you find those. And then, basically, what you will do is take these t-connectors. There is two of them. You will plug these in, one on each side.

The t-connector with the yellow wire in it is for the driver's side, the t-connector with the length of green wire is for the passenger side. So once you get those connected, then all you have to do is ground this eyelet of the white wire to a good ground nearby. And your system is all ready to go. Now it does include this black box here. This is a tail-light converter.

And this is to ensure that your vehicle's wiring match that of your trailer. It is a power module. It will connect directly to the battery to avoid overloading your vehicle's electrical system. And this converter is constructing using S.M.T. technology which is surface mount technology. Gives you more consistent, reliable performance. It will maximize your trailer-light yield and intensity, while producing minimal heat. And ensures superior operation in rough road conditions. Also, if you notice, they do include this nice dust cover that you can actually put on to your four-way. Snap it on there and you can leave it on there if you like. And then when you are not plugged into your trailer, what you would do is just put this over the terminals. Just like that, and it will protect those terminals from any damage or from the elements. A few specs on this: the maximum amperage for the stop- and turn-light circuit is three amps per circuit, for the tail- and running-lights is five amps per circuit. And just to quickly go through how to install this, again it comes with a nice set of instructions that will describe it step by step, how to install it. But what you will do is go to the rear of your vehicle, go to your rear cargo area, and you will access your connection points again, which will be listed in here. Find your connection points. Driver side. Plug it in. Passenger side. Plug it in. Have your white wire with your eyelet. If there is a ground nearby you can use, you can use that. If not, they do include a screw so that you could make your own ground. Once that is all attached, your converter box here does have a little weight to it, so they give you a piece of. You do want to attach it so it does not bounce around. They give you a piece of double-face tape that you can use to attach it down and then run your length of wire here out the back towards your trailer. Once you get it all installed they do give you some extra cable ties to take up any slack in any of the wiring here. But that should do it for the review on this Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the Four-Way Flat Trailer Connector..
