If some sequence converges to a limit L, then the sequence of terms f(a) converges to f(L), provided that function is continuous at L. We provide two worked examples, one with a sine function and one with a square root, showing how we simply show convergence for the "interior" piece, then apply the "outer function" to that result in order to find the value that the sequence of f(a)s converges to.
