Some makers, for security, use pins on their radios, others coding or programming... Citroen uses the same...
This car had the radio replaced, so a constant beeping coming from the radio makes it unbearable to keep it in...
In this video I will show you how to program a used radio on a Citroen. This procedure was carried out on a C3, but applies to other versions...

Just done a ecu kit swap on one of my peugeots (207) and was having this trouble so looked on your vids . Sure enough you had done a vid . Managed to update radio vin code using Snapon Triton at work . Thanks for posting this vid Luis.

Thanks for showing us this. I'm a bit surprised that Diagbox didn't work with this particular C3. My C4 Grand Picasso is a 2008 car and works with Diagbox.

I used a Snap On Solus code reader to programme the vin into stereo on my 2008 Citroen C3 worked straight away.

Thank you for the video, Luis. I have this problem on a Citroen Picasso at the moment. I'm installing the Citroen factory radio from one Picasso to another and hence the beeping. Just to be sure, does the new radio need the VIN of the vehicle it is being installed to?
