Cliff notes summary of "What the Exodus Project does not tell you." A peer reviewed whitepaper released by Humanity First's lead scientist.

Section 1: The majority of Project Exodus supporters will remain on Earth.
- There is over 200 million supporters of Project Exodus. To build a starship large enough to house that many people would be extremely difficult, even in space. Engineering for such a starship is beyond our understanding as at that scale the gravity of the ship itself could cause severe buckling and implosions on all known materials (see attached document 12 "Zero-G construction concerns").
- It is possible, that No One on Earth will even leave on the colony ship. Project Exodus has not released its proposal for interstellar colonization. It could literally be frozen embryos that gestate onboard before arrival. In that case, no one is leaving and their connection to Earth is merely informational.
- This means that all of humanity on Earth will still need to fight for their survival against the Aliens, regardless of if Project Exodus is successful or not.

Section 2: Project Exodus is not assisting with the problems on Earth.
- Project Exodus has time and again ignored the dangers posed by the Aliens. The lack of activity in Denver alone is proof enough of their negligence. It wasn't until people started going missing, and become infected with whatever bacteria was seeded by the aliens, did these elite even raise a finger. Meanwhile their deployment of the US military forces, simply reduced the freedoms of those living the adjoining areas, with little effective outcome.

Section 3: Therefore, Project Exodus is planning on stealing everyone's money, resources, and energy then abandoning them to the alien invaders.
- Until Project Exodus explains a clear and concise plan for how to handle FTL or STL colonization prospects. It is fool hardy to believe this is anything but a scam by the elite to escape the Earth in its most desparate need. To support their efforts is dangerous for the future of mankind!

is mercury an option it is safely in the alien's no touch zone due to fuel prices and them wanting to retaliate against you at literally any other location and, solar is far more effective there. You also have enough boost to scout a dizzying number of asteroids and by law of large numbers one of them has to be acceptable doesn't it? More orgs with minining bonuses may also help make mediocre bases more profitable especially on water and volatiles where they tend to have higher upkeeps at least before you get farms.
