Where even is Gohan? He was 16, probably 17 now since it's supposed to be not long after the Kid Buu battle was finished. He was the strongest at the end of that arc and was also OP as a child so if anything he should be stronger than the others who didn't gain a lot of abilities when they were children unlike Gohan who could control ki, fly, battle Frieza at the age of 5.

Im pretty sure Dende didn't tell Shenron to only give 3 wishes to friends. Sounds more like a personal rule Shenron has. Also, Bulma originally said 10 days after looking at the beat up ship. But after the two day skip and seeing the new guys still intact "plane", as he called it, she said she can fix it sooner. So vegeta and the others will be joining in a few days rather than the remaining 8. Idl if timefeame will have a play in the story or if it's just a time frame given just to put things into perspective and a flex for Bulma that she can look at am alien space craft for 30 seconds and figure out how it works
