As someone who's in the middle of reading said book, this excites me.

I absolutely love Tak, so awesome to see a how to play video from you on this that I can share with others now to easily introduce the rules to them :)!
Also great work as always on the setups too for instructions that helped concisely discuss multiple related rules (e.g. the capstone flattening stones at 06:10 )

Great video! You did have one motion that could be a bit confusing to new players. At 05:58 you move a stack of pieces underneath a capstone, as opposed to moving a capstone on top of the pieces. Note to new players: you cannot move any piece underneath another piece, only on top.

Also, everyone should play online at Playtak.com, as it's a wonderful way to learn the game while you wait for your physical set :)

Two Questions:
Can you move one of your walls on your turn if it is not atop a stack?
When initially placing a piece, can you place it anywhere (except on a wall/capstone) or does it have to be an open space?

Thanks for all you do!

This is a cool innovation to TicTacToe! The game looks very aesthetically pleasing - can definitely imagine this being played in LOTR haha

Remember the object is to play a elegant game.

Wow, I don’t think you missed a single rule! Great job.

I apologize if someone has pointed this out, but all the rules say that a capstone can be part of a winning road (reads as a flat stone). However if playing points, it does not count as a point.

I'm suddenly hungry for the brown pieces in Chex Mix...

I'm a bit confused. How does a standing piece end up on a stack? Can you place them there? Can they be moved?
