This is actually more accurately called the MVP (Model View Presenter) pattern. In MVC, the Model would update the view, not the controller.

why in Wikipedia says that controller is the component who captures the input and in ur video is the view who captures the input?

1 minute into the video, MVC just seems like common sense, not a design pattern, like it's just a mapping between what we see and the actual models, just separating the UI into another layer. But I'll continue to watch since I always like your videos :) Finished video, great explanation.

I know this video isn't about that but just saving the user id in the cookie for authentication isn't secure
E: unless the user ids are crypto safe but that would make the db cry
