Two powerful examples of the realities those who are no longer counted as unemployed face.

The official unemployment numbers are a joke! I have looked for a job in multiple states and EVERY state I have gone to the library is full of people looking for work.
Just considering my circle of friends/relatives:
1. Some have been unemployed for years (Most with a college degree)
2. College educated and working low paid retail jobs
3. Some have a Masters degree from well known Universities and are working basic office jobs for around $30k

That happened to me in 2001, after that dreadful day in September. It happened again in 2008 after the great recession and inbetween it was spotty temp jobs followed by many months of chronic unemployment. I looked for anything, wasn't picky, was either over or under qualified until it was just much time of unemployment. I'm upset actually being so young at that time, early thirties with no family and I tried and tried and tried. It is what it is, thankfully I now have a steady job, underemployed but it has great benefits and I can work for another 16, 18 years here. Its not what I envisioned but it's what I need. Thank you Lord Jesus.

in addition when filling out applications, if they are not CURRENTLY employed, then, its another excuse for employers not to hire, and if employees that are applying, and tell the truth as they should, it is STILL counted against them

You have to collect unemployment benefits to be considered unemployed. Or to say another way, When your unemployment benefits stop your not considered unemployed.

U-3, the most commonly published measure of unemployment, includes those who have looked for work in the past four weeks. U-6 takes into consideration those who have given up looking for work and those working part-time who wish to work full-time.

they should pay the unemployment in one lump sum to pay for plastic surgery etc to look like a millenial and age so that discrimination wont hurt recruiters and hr people's via eye strain .... make their jobs even less to exciiuse them out of discriminatory practices and other excuses for not hiring or paying a living wage

I hope that during this time when women can't afford makeup or men can't afford tattoos people can choose to return to a holy way of living. All the things that destroy our bodies like processed food and cosmetics are usually expensive anyway. You have to thank God for the ways in which he calls his children back to holiness. Holiness not just inwardly but outwardly aswell.
