$100 Fish & Chips + A Very Busy Return To CYOO
Today we fly up to Killarney on the shores of Georgian Bay - for some world famous fish and chips. Historically Killarney was known for its commercial fishery, most of that is gone now except for one family business that still fishes and cooks at their local restaurant.

Glenn and Jules, you do a great job in two of my favorite subjects, cooking and flying. Mike Victor Uniform is a beautiful bird, the old-school unpaint scheme is too cool. Really enjoy your work, the north of the US border scenery is stellar. Y'all create great story lines, keep up the good work regardless of algorithms, subscriptions and/or likes. The media is the message.

Glen, those windmills you observed on way to Killarney were on Henvey Inlet First Nations land. It was a huge project a few years back up this way. If you noticed just North of the windmills there is a large clear area due to the forest fires a few years ago. Looks like you enjoyed Hubert's fish and chips. Always one of my favorite flights to do during the summer.

Love the vertical perspective on the forest and lakes.

That runway at Killarney looks like someone picked it up and dropped it. It broke into a million pieces and had to be glued back together.

A favourite stop for me too, after I forget my sunglasses. 🙄 I roll in on my electric unicycle. So peaceful to eat on the docks there.

Glen, can you kindly do another run of your hats? I started watching your channel too late to get one. Thanks!

Love Killarney! It’s our favourite place to fly for a quick overnight or lunch.

I always thought that KYBO was an acronym for Keep Your Butt Off because outhouses were typically gross and you wanted to touch as little as possible.

Had to research; it's a pit toilet ... fond but stinky memory of camping in my youth.

My mom used to pass her glasses like that when she wanted to switch.

I remember kybo from scouting. Another term for an outhouse.

There's a floating fish and chips shop in Nanaimo harbour. That's closer to the water lol.

Beautiful! I have got to try flying up there! As for fuel up at CYOO, I find taxiing to Enterprise gets me faster turn around times, especially if you go when the students are in the air :). They waive the ramp fee if you buy more than 10 L.
