This is a review of the new Apple AirPods Max headphones. In this AirPods Max review, I share my unboxing experience and my first impressions. The AirPods Max are apple's newest Bluetooth headphones, and it'll be interesting to see how the AirPods Max compare to other Bluetooth headphones available today.

Serious question - Playstation 5 or AirPods Max?

Remember those wheels Apple made? These headphones cost less than those.

To me spatial audio is not a gimmick, I honestly switched from watching on a TV to watching on my iPad Pro, just to have the AirPods Pro spatial audio and I am waiting for this feature to come to AppleTV and will buy a new one for it. The audio quality is worse when my surround system, but the positioning is so insanely good that I still prefer it. Now if AirPods Max even have better sound than my surround, it’s worth replacing my surround system with two of them and still have some money left for backup HomePods - all of that is just a dream, as AppleTV does only support spatial audio on HomePods which a slightly improved stereo at best, so AirPods support is what I have to wait for.
Still would love if your test would include spatial audio, maybe watch a nice movie or some Atmos action trailer. If nothing else try the Demo in the Dolby Summit app.

I have been testing these Airpods Max for 3 days... No comments regarding the price. Pure performance here. They do have too much treble. In some songs I needed to reduce volume to go easy on my ear drums because of too much exposure of high frequencies. These headphones definitely are good if you prefer listening to podcasts, interviews - they are crisp clear and oh yes - movies! Like in the cinema. They do brilliant job canceling the noise around you, no doubt in that. But I would not choose them for listening to the music because the high frequencies they produce will bring you headache and ear pain. Literally, when I put on QC35II on my head after Airpods Max, it just like taking Ibuprofen and coming back to normal life. Adding stupid and useless case, weight, bullkiness, no way to turn them off feature and price in the end . . . Let Tim Cook and his team wear them. Stick to any Sony and Bose. And those who already have XM3, XM4, QC35, QC35II, NC700 or Momentum 3, don't even think of changing your headset for these. Bad apple. And those who stay in a line for 12-14 weeks, do yourself a favor, buy Sony on Amazon and enjoy extra $300 for some other gadget or else. I 've been really waiting for this release and really wanted to keep 'em but just too many features that needs to be improved to be on par with the competitors.

A company that doesn’t have any expertise on audio?. Really? Have you seen the things they’ve been doing on the audio side of things with Laptop speaker, Homepod, Airpod Pro. Sure they are not studio grade stuff but the development behind all of those things are very impressive and enough to see that they do have expertise on the audio side for consumers

Pretty sure they could keep the price lower but they want to offer that exclusivity badge to their customers. They probably knew that even if their price was lower, not many people would have bought them and they’d still complain so they opted to those who really want them and found that sweet spot where they’re expensive but still relatively affordable. Apple knows what they’re doing and this price tag is proof enough of it.

Or these are the first headphones that have the right price. We are just used to get everything cheap and mostly made out of plastic. The amount of tech in these is stunning

Maybe for your long term review you should compare them against the Sony wh-1000xm4 and see if there is any justification for the £200 price difference.

When you say the company who doesn't have any expertise in Audio. What does that mean even, The Macbook speakers and Microphone sounds better than every other laptop . The homepod and homepod mini sounds great . THe spatial audio, even the transparency mode. Plus not to talk about Microphones sounds better than every other manufactorur . The only gripe with these headphones a) the price and b) the case( they should've called it a sleeve).

I love how people like to compare these to Sony headphones when they’re cheap plastic...If you don’t see any value in how these are built then just don’t comment on them. That may not be important to you and thats fine, but these headphones ARE way nicer lol! Like not even close nicer. Would I like to see the price 100 bucks cheaper? Yes I would. Stop thinking your Sonys or Beats are just as nice...they’re not even close.

Nice review! I really want them because of the connectivity with apple, but I’m not sure if I can justify buying them for $550 when I can get the wm4 for $275 on Amazon right now!!

Nice video but this doesn't feel like a review. You kept mentioning how you barely had enough time with them and still need to put them to the test in different ways.
