that's not a child, that's a 60 year old jazz legend that squeezed himself into a small boy-sized costume. I'm an instant fan of this kid, he's incredible!

What he actually said in the intro: "I'm Jude Kofie, I'm 12 years old, and I've been playing the keyboard almost 40 years now"

They should secretly invite the author artists in these videos, so that the artist would sit behind that booth without Jude knowing and give comments on Jude's playing by reacting to it, and at the end the artists would meet and greet Jude. That would be a nice surprise for everyone!

Love the fact that he was enjoying himself. He even laughs like Jon Batiste

This is an old time, reincarnated 1930s jazz piano player who came back to punk everyone. Listen to him talk. His polite expressions and that LAUGH is the giveaway - he comes from another age! This is an old soul having a go of it! 😅😅😅🎹

We need to see a Jon Batiste crossover and this kid. It would be a beautiful encounter to see and hear two geniuses improvise.

Only 4 years. Only 12 years old. Nowhere close his peak. many years left to become one of the best there ever was.

Shine bright, Jude.

I am pianist. The first time I heard him he blows my mind. Its a joke that a kid 3 o 4 years younger than now could feel jazz tensions like that. It is magic becouse the brain needs to grow for process that type of information. Its high level harmony. Sorry for my english. I am fron spain. He will be a legend for sure.

What a gift for his parents. To struggle for so many years in and out of hospitals, not knowing what would become of your child. To find out that he not only will live, but will undoubtely live an extradorinary life.

Man, you could see the pain on his dads face when they started talking about when he was in the hospital. That’s a good dad right there 👍🏼

"Pretty impressive" is underselling that skill. It is insane skill.

Imagine all the music he hasn't heard, not influencing his style at all and he is just drawing from pure creativity. Wow.

I first met Jon Batiste when he was four years old and you wanna talk about a child prodigy! He as already one of the best drummers in New Orleans. I don't know if he even played piano yet. His uncle was my co-worker (Russell Baptiste)

Wow. He’s not only a great pianist but also exudes confidence, speaks with a maturity beyond his years, and possesses better interpersonal skills than most adults I know.
