I have a 2023 Lucid Air Touring. Having a >400 mile range just lowers the stress level.

After seeing out of spec's video on the gravity, I'm sold

Lucid did a great job on this. This should have been the first product not the Air.

If you're in the business of selling vehicles, Elon Musk is writing the book how not to do it by alienating half of his potential customer base.

With the lucid having native NACS it is a compelling buy.

I just want a stinkin minivan EV already. 8 seats, sliding doors, 150 cu ft cargo.

IMO, Lucid has always built a better EV than Tesla. Only thing that holding it back is the charging network and the software. I still think Tesla leads in those 2 aspects.

Ah, your channel is much more refreshing and pleasurable to watch since you’ve become more objective and fair towards Lucid (while still offering fair critiques), just like you do for Tesla.

Don't forget the savings each year. Fuel, etc. Love the suv.

Lucid Gravity 7 seat three row SUV with 450 miles of EPA range will sell well IMHO. According to Jason Cammisa - Carmudgeon podcast "Lucid is Tesla 2.0". Gravity has 100+ more miles than the Model X. Lucid Air is outselling the Model S.

I hope the Gravity does well!!! I want an EV badly but I LOATHE Musk and absolutely refuse to give him my hard-earned money! My hope is that Lucid releases a 5-seat crossover in the next few years so that I can absolutely avoid Tesla.

I’m planning on selling my Cybertruck and trying to decide between the Gravity and the R1S to replace it. I LOVE how the truck handles. But I never needed a truck, I can’t stand how much attention I get still after 8 months of ownership (literally had 3 conversations today in parking lots).

I much prefer the looks of the Rivian, but it’s hard to argue that the Lucid isn’t spec sheet superior in almost every way.

After getting so much attention for the last 8 months I think it’ll be nice to blend in with the sleeper that is the Lucid Gravity. So that’s the way I’m leaning. I prefer the exterior and interior styling of the Rivian, and I think it’s low key “enough” so I’d be happy either way I’m sure.

I would buy way too many of the Lucid Gravity and Air before buying a Tesla

This is my opinion The Tesla Cybertruck is undoubtedly a bold and futuristic design, but its shape raises practical concerns for real-world utility. While the angular aesthetic is eye-catching, it limits the functionality of the truck bed for carrying long, wide, or irregularly shaped items. For example, the narrow and tapered sides of the truck bed may restrict the loading of items like construction materials, furniture, or recreational equipment, which are common use cases for truck owners.

Tesla could consider incorporating a more versatile design that allows for easier accommodation of such items. Ideas include:
1. Adjustable or Expanding Bed Space: A bed that can expand in width or length, perhaps with modular or fold-out side panels.
2. Flat and Straight Bed Sides: Keeping the sides of the truck bed flat to maximize space for fitting wide items without obstruction.
3. Built-In Bed Extender: A built-in extension that seamlessly integrates into the design but provides extra length when needed.
4. Under-Bed Storage Compartments: Utilizing the area beneath the bed for additional storage space while keeping the truck’s exterior dimensions manageable.
5. Roof Integration for Longer Items: Designing a system that allows longer items to rest securely across the roof and bed, with adjustable anchors for stability.

Functionality should remain a top priority for any truck, balancing its aesthetic appeal with its practical utility. As innovative as the Cybertruck is, addressing these concerns could make it a more attractive option for a wider audience of potential truck buyers.

I think narrowing it down to range and storage space is missing more key factors than there are similarities.

You don;t need that range but it's nice to have. Also, it may give a faster charge time if you only need to charge from 5-10% to 50 or 60% (200+mi of range) if the charging curve is "normal" i.e higher at the begining through middle of the pack. This is based on the thinking that 450mi range is not needed and 250 - 300 miles of range is enough.

That’s the reason I cancel my cygertruck order. I was expecting a 500 miles range, but not even close for the price they were asking.
