How can we use investment to build regenerative economies that restore harm done to people and planet in Aotearoa, New Zealand?
The system is not broke, it is rigged to benefit the few at the expense of people and planet. Unless we recognise that we cannot use the same system that created the problems to solve them as well, we will never make the necessary systems change. We can use investment in regenerative economies as a way of restoring harm done to people and planet. So, let's get moving on it.

Session led by EHF Fellows Laina Raveendran Greene (C2), CEO of Angels of Impact and Teresa Tepania-Ashton, CEO of Maori Women’s Development Inc. Hear this discussion on how women community based social enterprises are promising agents of change, and how new models and toolkits for restoration capital are sorely needed to assist them in their endeavours. Highlighting emerging models from NZ and the USA, that show promise for replication. Nwamaka Agbo, CEO of Kataly, explains how we can invest to create shared prosperity and self-determination for a just transition to the next economy based on her experience in the United States and Rangimarie Price, Director of The Connective shares the Tikanga-led model of investing into people and planet developed in New Zealand.
