Working in Germany as a child care educator: 'I want to build a life here'!

Germany offers many opportunities for skilled workers from abroad. And the German economy urgently needs well-trained people. New laws such as the Skilled Immigration Act, reforms to the citizenship law and the introduction of an opportunity card are intended to reduce the hurdles for international skilled workers.

Whether in IT, the service sector, nursing or education, there are opportunities for international professionals to find a job. Daniela Noya from Colombia also took the plunge and came to Germany. The 29-year-old educator works in a day care centre in Hanau. She wants to develop professionally in Germany and build a life there.
