In today's video, I Find a hidden tunnel FILLED with RARE AQUARIUM FISH! After 4 months I finally come back to this crazy spot again in search for exotic fish like rare plecos, cichlids, gouramis, catfish, AND MORE! Me and my girlfriend decided to do a 24 hour fish trap 1v1 to see who can catch the coolest fish! We both placed our traps in 2 different tunnels and then netted around in the sewers before leaving for a full day! I ended up catching some unknown fish in the sewer that I need your help identifying! When we came back to check our traps we were shocked at the MONSTER alien fish Helen caught! She also caught a monster Oscar which we brought back to put in my pond! In my trap I ended up catching TONS of rare aquarium fish like orange crawfish, convict cichlids, green terrors, AND MORE! Should we come back and do a part 3 at this crazy spot?

100% a freshwater prawn. They average that big but are not common. Very cool find and Helen's facial expressions are priceless 😅

Well, I have to say Helen won because she had the biggest and weirdest catch. The weird one was a giant freshwater prawn, wild! Oscars are cool, nice name to Helen, Robert the Oscar. Keep up the good work, definitely go back.

That prawn is Giant Freshwater Prawn. It is found throughout the tropical and subtropical areas of the Indo-Pacific region, from India to Southeast Asia and Northern Australia. You also can catch it with fishing rod at the river.

Bobby won in volume but Helen won for originality with that giant river prawn. Great video. That spot definitely warrants a return trip.

Helen def won! That crustacean she caught is actually a freshwater prawn. They also come in blue! That tiny catfish was sweet! Hopefully we can get another good look of him in the future. Keep up the good work!

Hey Bobby. Those giant shrimp are totally an invasive species. Good you caught him. He'll be happy in the crayfish jungle.

Awesome video mate. Helen needs her own pound or tank for her fish then in 3 to 6 months do a video on what she has got. You both work good together

You should open a fish store, you catch a lot of fish, that’s what I would do if I lived in florda

Your unknown invertebrate is a fresh water prawn. If he gets plenty of food he'll grow quite a bit bigger than that. They farm those, then harvest them and once they're cleaned, they freeze them to sell. They taste exactly like the shrimp you get out of the ocean. It might be necessary to get some special feed for him if you want him to live a good number of years, and if you want him to grow. The thing about inverts, and especially prawns and saltwater lobsters is that they need the proper nutrition and mix of minerals so that they can successfully shed their skins. If they do not get that nutrition, they will become shell bound and eventually die. Crawfish tend to be a bit heartier in that regard, but they'll eat that stuff too, and it will help them a bit as well. Both the crawfish and the freshwater shrimp feed on algae, and will help keep your pond/fish tank clean and free of algae. They'll also eat any fish that happen to die. They are a real clean up crew. If you find anymore, definitely keep them! If you can't use them, I''ll buy them off of you and dump them in my aquaponic system. It's a closed system where the fish and shrimp get fed, then when they poop, gets carried to the top of the unit where it runs down a course where various vegetables are being grown hydroponically with their roots in the water with no soil. The waste from the fish gets taken up by the plants which makes them grow very lushly without the addition of fertilizer. I don't have to add a whole lot of food because I have the unit in direct sunlight which encourages the growth of algae which the freshwater shrimp then eat, keeping the cycle going with only a small amount of food output, and a little extra on the electric bill which is paid for by the fresh vegies and the occasional shrimp for dinner if I have some which are full size and the tank is starting to get crowded. It's a great little system which you may want to consider, even if you're not going to eat any of the fish. It's a good place to keep fish, and the fresh veg you grow in it is worth doing all by itself. It's a self-justifying system. Doing that will cut way down on your need for filtration.

Helen take it based on the super rarity of that freshwater prawn, someone must've let it go in the creek as they are from southeast Asia I believe. Cool find.
