I miss when the old Star Wars sets had cheeky, hidden play features.
Just Lego sets from that era, in general.

My theory is the gunships would have opened up in the movie in a scrapped scene. Lego gets a lot of stuff early and that leads to screw ups. Like with the mando's armor.

I always wanted this set but I ended up buying the third version LEGO made and I am using it for the 212th Battalion.

I have this set, recently rebuilt it actually, it is a really good set. the only downside is the Super battle droid clips, breaking. I really need to get some replacements myself.

Brings back memories parents got me this set after having surgery to remove a tumor from my chest.

At 1:30, the team at LEGO photographed the setup with the characters separately from the gunship itself. The actual resolution of both photos is the same, but the gunship is depicted much larger. This means you have to zoom in on the image, so it looks less detailed

It is crazy how much this set shot up in value I work at a third party Lego Store and we have one of these in stock and no joke it is being listed for $900
