Turks and Caicos is one of the best vacation destinations with white sand beaches and tons of activities, but we while we were there we learned what not to do.

I have worked out of the Turks and Caicos Islands over the years. They have much bigger issues with crime (from the belongers) as they call themselves then a tourist carrying a bullet. (look up the gang shooting about a year ago of a tourist) So don't let this slide by you even if they have repealed the law back. They don't like tourists overall and they have many other reasons to arrest and detain tourists. Remember that if you are arrested and no public outcry happens you will end up staying in jail unlike these folks. Better to travel somewhere else. Not that much here anyway and expensive. But to be fair about the islands they are beautiful. Too bad about the government.

Looks like ferries might be more of an option to go Island hopping rather than flying, by the look of the maps, most of the islands being so close. You don't mention this.

You can see whales in many places. Turks and Caicos is basically south side of Chicago.

Don’t you feel sorry for the dogs? I do. I work at a shelter and it’s unfortunate that we domesticated them and don’t take care of them.
