* Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τῶν Ἁγίων Μαρτύρων Ἑσπέρου καὶ Ζωῆς τῆς συμβίου αὐτοῦ, καὶ τῶν τέκνων αὐτῶν Κυριακοῦ καὶ Θεοδούλου.
* Ὁ ὅσιος Ἰορδάνης ὁ θαυματουργὸς ἐν εἰρήνῃ τελειοῦται.

* Τῇ ἁγίᾳ καὶ μεγάλῃ Πέμπτῃ, οἱ τὰ πάντα καλῶς διαταξάμενοι θεῖοι Πατέρες, ἀλληλοδιαδόχως ἐκ τε τῶν θείων Ἀποστόλων, καὶ τῶν ἱερῶν Ευαγγελίων, παραδεδώκασιν ἡμῖν τέσσαρά τινα ἑορτάζειν· τὸν ἱερὸν Νιπτῆρα, τὸν μυστικὸν Δεῖπνον (δηλαδὴ τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν καθʼ ἡμᾶς φρικτῶν Μυστηρίων), τὴν ὑπερφυᾶ Προσευχήν, καὶ τὴν Προδοσίαν αὐτήν.
* Τῇ ἀφάτῳ σου εὐσπλαγχνίᾳ, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν, ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς. Ἀμήν.

* On May 2 we commemorate the recovery of the holy relics of our Father among the Saints Athanasius the Great, Patriarch of Alexandria.
* On this day we commemorate the holy Martyrs Hesperos and his wife Zoe and their children Kyriacos and Theodulos.
* Devout Saint Jordan the Wonder-worker reposed in peace.

* On holy and great Thursday the godly Fathers, who have arranged all things well, received from the divine Apostles and the sacred Gospels and in turn handed down to us, that today we should celebrate four things: the sacred Washing of Feet, the Mystical Supper (that is, the tradition of what we know as the awesome Mysteries of Holy Communion), the High Priestly Prayer, and finally the Betrayal itself.
* By Your ineffable compassion, O Christ our God, have mercy on us. Amen.
