Alteryx Series: #1 Intro to Alteryx [Beginners]

This is the first video in the Alteryx series.

In this video, our Associate Consultant, Raymond Chan, performs basic data preparation and data blending on transactions data, and then uses a predictive model to give us a score for each customer based on their likelihood of responding to an offer. The video then concludes by outputting the results into Tableau for a visual representation of key findings.

Stay tuned as we will soon be releasing a number of videos to add to the Alteryx series, which aim to showcase this great tool along with a number of use cases.

What is the point of going with this route instead of writing the expression within the BI?

I think you used the "score" tool wrongly... Your model output (from your regression tool) should go into the model input of your "score" icon and the new data should go into the data input of your "score"
