Poverty song was a concept I considered for this one. “All I’m doing [is] thinking how to get some money, and then we’ll be good.” A false statement, but one that I believed at a point, and many others believe right now. This song also takes place in that nostalgic kind of setting. I’m describing many things that are normal on the westside of Chicago, so that it plays like just any other day. Pretty stagnant but having so much life. “We ain’t got no time to relax.” A harsh reality for so many people experiencing this type of poor. The focus is on work and survival. “Had to run them niggas shooting shit, I wish that the guys had shields.” An acknowledgement of grief, but the song is not written as to feel sad or sorry for ourselves. It is a reality, not one I or anyone else can change, so this song is getting up the next day and getting to work, or getting to it however you provide, but just moving on in that fashion. “And then we’ll be good.” Throughout whatever adversity, and challenges, and otherwise just fucked up shit comes our way.

Come My Way Lyrics:
[Saba]
Daydreaming thinking how to get some money
And then we good
And then we good
And then we’ll be good

All I’m doing thinking how to get some money
And then we good
And then we good
And then we’ll be good

This sound like tube socks on Madison Ave
Students acting bad up in the class
Drop out but family will ask
Lie like you plan on going back aye
We ain’t no time to relax
Work the only priority in tact
Posted on the porch shooting the shit
Had to run them niggas shooting shit
I wish that the guys had shields
Stop lights cleaning windshields
Fiends will do it free for a feel
Had the same friends since I was little
Used to hoop with Poppy and Jaleel
Spooky bent the block I dropped a tape
Talked to Walt and watched him fly away
Multiply my problems by the day
Westside chilling with a faithful
Knock it out the park it's like the base loaded
I’mma get it booming like I’m Metro
Me I’m getting to it how I’m meant to
Blood i mean a vessel
Imma tell them to be careful
Cuz a copper wanna kill em
And the family in the ghetto
From the bottom of the barrel
I’mma run it like the pharoah
Nigga this is for the peasants
We be worried bout the Peso peso

Daydreaming thinking how to get some money
And then we good
And then we good
And then we’ll be good

All I’m doing thinking how to get some money
And then we good
And then we good
And then we’ll be good

[ Krayzie Bone]
Kray jack love grindin hard so really I’ll be fine
Shinin, ballin til the end of my time
Stuck in my prime, I’m always at my best
Sick in the mind, go all day never rest
Keep em in line, the flow got em in check
Me and mine, you niggas gotta respect
Leisure time, for me that don’t exist
I seek to find my peace, so a nigga drift sometime
Never no worry from me cause I’m knowing that I’m truly blessed
Caution my steps, if I see majority go to the right then I walk to the left (ayy)
Truly innovative, even niggas that be hatin they be motivated
Cause I’m so creative, motivator, and them suckas we could never relate to
Trust no faker, shakin these snakes
Ain’t no haters making me wait
All I gotta say is they gon see me shine
They gon have to bottle Kray, ooh don’t come around my way
Bone diggy done yep we go over time

[ Saba ]
Daydreaming thinking how to get some money
And then we good
And then we good
And then we’ll be good

All I’m doing thinking how to get some money
And then we good
And then we good
And then we’ll be good

Daydreaming thinking how to get some money (tell em that I’m on my way)
And then we good (dollar bill come my way)
And then we good (dollar bill come my way)
And then we’ll be good (dollar bill come my way)

All I’m doing thinking how to get some money (tell em that I’m on my way)
And then we good (dollar bill come my way)
And then we good (dollar bill come my way)
And then we’ll be good (dollar bill come my way)

The visuals for Saba’s videos are unlike any other. He continues to find ways to use the sun, it’s like his side kick or something.

Bone thugs were literally 30 years ahead of their time when the laid this sound. Back then you either loved it or secretly loved it and publicly hated it. Now it's what every rap and r n b act tries to do. Definitely need to be in the Rock hall.

That was moving to see his closest friends and members of Pivot Gang, including his brother Joseph, just enjoying life and being grateful. Happy to see that Krayzie Bone made an appearance in the clip, his part is something and matches well with Saba's one. Clean filming, simple and aesthetic. _Come My Way_ is one of the catchiest songs I heard in a long time and it makes me want to simply enjoy my life. That's why I know Saba is a great artist.

As a 27 year Bone Thugs fan I approve! Song is 🔥. I know Bone was a major influence for Saba. My buddy helps manage Saba and it’s been amazing watching their team grow and grow and grow. Independent too. Real talent can never be held down! Great work guys. Doing it with one of the greatest alive! Dope song, dope video! Bless up 🙏

I have never in my life heard of Saba, never ever. I'm here because I'm a Bone Thugs fan. With that said, Krayzie could've not been on this and I fucking love it. The sound is different and refreshing. The video matches the vibe of the song too. I've literally been walking around my apartment like "badadada gotta some mo, and we good" 😂😂😂 I'm bout to add all this dude music to my YouTube music library. Good shit.

Verrry nice! It's giving 90's retro vibes. I can dig it. 😊 I know it was awesome collabing with Krayzie Bone. I remember you saying in an interview that Bone Thugs N' Harmony were one of your favs growing up. Recording with a childhood idol has got to be dope. ✊🏽

Can I just point out the perfect color correction for this whole album? From the short film, to the album cover, to this music video. It perfectly fits with the theme and vibe of the album. Piece of art right here.
