PART FOUR:
Once again Guy Martin is #ProAlloyCooled in his much loved Ford Transit Van.
This time round, to try and break the Van lap record of the Nurburgring!!

Channel 4 - Sunday 4th November 2018 - 9pm.

With the build complete and a successful shakedown in early October at Cadwell Park the excitement was starting to build for the Nurburgring Challenge! Only two weeks later and Guy and his Team are heading down to Germany to attempt the Nurburgring record.
With a few laps under his belt during Saturday’s Touristenfahrten, confidence was growing. However all that was to change on Sunday afternoon...during some routine final checks and adjustments to the Van, Guy discovered a crack in one of the front brake discs! Now the Team had a new challenge...could they find some replacement brake discs on a Sunday afternoon and still get the Van ready for Monday mornings record attempt!!

Interesting how the documentary made out that guy knew nothing about the ring when anyone who has followed him over the last 20 years will know he has spanked superbikes round there many times at top speeds and knows it like the back of his hands, bit naughty to pretend otherwise but I suppose it's called poetic licence....for anyone in any doubt there is a vid among this stream in which guy rides the arse off a bike with a couple of his mates, one nicknamed the baron from Ohh 11 years ago!
