Rents actually coming down where I live. Homes not so much, although owners are not getting ridiculous asking prices either and are staying on the market for months. I think problem for landlords now is huge supply and they are finding it difficult for tenants to come up with an additional month's rent for security deposit. Subprime tenants are damaging homes and not getting their deposits back with no money in the bank for new deposits. What happens to these landlords who have a house vacant for months with mortgage to pay???
