Harrison Ford talks about working with Sean Connery as Indiana Jones Sr! Harrison Ford & James Mangold are interviewed for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Harrison Ford returns as the legendary hero archaeologist. Starring along with Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge (“Fleabag”), Antonio Banderas (“Pain and Glory”), John Rhys-Davies (“Raiders of the Lost Ark”), Shaunette Renee Wilson (“Black Panther”), Thomas Kretschmann (“Das Boot”), Toby Jones (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), Boyd Holbrook (“Logan”), Oliver Richters (“Black Widow”), Ethann Isidore (“Mortel”) and Mads Mikkelsen (“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”). Scott Davis asks the questions.

Directed by James Mangold, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981, is once again composing the score.

The film opens in cinemas on June 28, 2023.

This is actually a great question. Ford’s answer is actually perfect. On paper one would wonder if an actor would look to that great performance as inspiration now that the characters are similar ages. But that’s the thing, Indy wouldn’t even think of trying to emulate his dad because of how different they are.

Sean Connery & Harrison Ford are both fine legendary men. They are both the light of many cinema creations & to very much of the change in times what has already been done is gold. I appreciate Mr Ford's comment of honesty being he (Indiana Jones) has his on world to get through on the run. Sean Connery was a brilliant one to be the father.
