Great explanation mate! I thought I'd add a few things on this subject. First off with the channels the numbering system is the master command then a dash then the individual command. So 100 would be the master channel, and 04 the individual. Basically the master channel is a more widespread channel that allows the power company to shut off a large amount of receivers in a short time to suppress a blackout from happening, as opposed to sending out a bunch of individual commands. In the Decabit system the individual commands range from 00 to 99, master commands range from 100 to 118, and then there are reserved commands 119 through 125 giving the total 126 possible combinations of the 10 data bits (5 must be on, and 5 must be off for error detection). Also you are correct in which the signal is injected at higher voltage and travels throughout the entire network, the signal is meant to go to every house from one transmitter. If you have any questions on this I probably know the answer considering I have replicated this system here. Cheers!
