Important mechanic with all sentry Engis: buffs applied to a single tower (Overclock, Alch buffs, etc.) only affect the Engi itself, meaning that they'll only buff the nail gun and sentry building speed. Buffs that are applied over a certain area (Village buffs, Pat and Gwen's buffs, etc.) affect both the Engi and the sentries, meaning that one of the best towers to pair with Sentry Champion is Homeland Defense since it doubles the attack speed of the sentries, the amount of sentries AND their pierce for some time.

To further clarify for those who don't know: the order you purchase upgrades in affects top path Engineer if you crosspath it with the middle path. If you buy Sentry Guns first, then he'll always place them down within his initial small range, even after buying the larger range upgrade. If you buy the larger range upgrade first, then he'll place the centuries down anywhere within his upgraded range. Sometimes you want the guns clumped together, and sometimes you want wider coverage, depending on the map and the situation, so it's good to keep this in mind. (I do not know if leaving to the menu and reloading the save affects this property.)

5-0-2 crosspath *definitely* needs buffs. Maybe increase the pierce bonus given to sentries and the engineer, and allow the pin effect to stun ceramics.

I do believe that the bug that it spawns sentries further is actually intended but close is not. But I hope NK will keep the closer option if they change it

One tip for using him in the late game. You could build a base unupgraded dart monkey where you dont want sentries placed. If you placed the dart monkey on a sentry, the sentry will go away at the usual time. This way you could help concentrate them, or make them stay towards the front, or force them to be built further out depending on where you place the dart monkeys

Clearly middle path is a MUST on every engineer. It gives them (and their turrets/traps) more range of attack and deploy.

I use it with Super Brittle anyways, so I usually run bottom path because the pierce means more bloons it's applying +5 damage to. Maybe 5-2-0 is still mathematically more efficient against moabs and/or fortified? Idk I'm too lazy to check.

Either way bottom path needs a buff. Maybe nine inch nails could give more than +1 pierce to the sentries, and the explosion could pin moab class and below for a brief time? They could also make the whole sentry gun path's AI tend to place sentries on the outer edges of its range so LSA's effect of less concentrated damage is even more apparent.

I always went 520, tho about the shower thought, I agree, i think they should change when u put on a hero skin coz i never buy hero pets as when a new skin gets released the pet wont stay and i always use the most recent skin
