Xplora X6 Play - The Best Kids Smartwatch? | A Quick Review

This is my somewhat quick review of the Xplora X6 Play smartwatch for kids. In my opinion one of the better watches to equip your child with. However it´s not completely without drawbacks.

_Unless you require absolute power this is the best, still high end, laptop to buy if you want an affordable, fast, portable and completely silent (no fans) computer with a fantastic screen, keyboard and trackpad._

🐁 *Mouse* ► Logitech MX Master 3S
_In my opinion, by far the best mouse for any type of productivity work._

📱 *Phone* ► Nothing Phone (2a)
_If you want an affordable smartphone with good cameras, good battery life, a great screen and absolutely decent performance. This could well be it._

🎧 *Headphones (On-Ear)* ► Sony WH-1000XM4
_Somewhat pricy, but incredible value for the money. Specially regarding the ANC._

🛋 *Cordless Vacuum Cleaner* ► Dreame Z10 Station
_Pricy, but it´s a cleaning life-saver in terms of portability and results. And the auto emptying makes it...better then Dyson._

I have two sons who will be turning 7 and 5, respectively, next month and I just yesterday ordered an X6 and X3 Go for them for their birthdays. Currently (atleast here in the US) they are doing a promotion where you get the watch for free if you agree to 2 years if monthly subscription to their service. Wishing I would have looked some if these videos up before ordering, but if nothing else its a novelty item they can use to call family and get used to the idea/responsibility of owning their own phones soon. Its unfortunate to hear of so many issues regarding the location tracking, but at their age (besides school) they're rarely out of our sight anyway. Thanks for the informative video!

The location monitoring is really disappointing and not accurate at all, also according to specs it uses wifi to determine and update location, but if watch is indoors connected to wifi it never updates location, also not with manual request, only in open air outdoor use it updates location but still on irregular and poor intervals, I bought 2 and both have same poor location tracking performance, this is sad as it is one of the main features why people buy this.

How does the texting function work. Can they freely text the contacts in the watch without the contacts needing an app? I'm looking for a watch that allows him to voice message or text his contacts freely without the contacts needing to download anything

This is the worst kids watch money can buy. It’s big like a brick, with a handful of functions and really bad battery life. The app can top all of that with useless games and ads and repeated problems where the watch is inaccessible after uodates. Seriously do not buy this watch!
