Hi Wayne - is it key that you have to line everything up just right as you build it.... as you cannot set positioning of planets\moons after the build is complete?

I can tell you all the names of Jupiters moons if you're interested.

That's beginning to look really good 😮

It's pronounced Care-ees, as the C is a hard c not a soft c.

Where is the storm eye of Jupiter? Sad they missed this 'small' detail 😞

Looking good Wayne! I was a bit confused when this started when you mentioned "grub screws". We call them 'set screws' here in the States. I didn't see the Red Spot on Jupiter - a bit disappointed in that omission.

This was originally realised about 15 years ago. I started to build it but never completed it.think I've still got some of the booklets in a folder

Just a note for anyone else making this. The gear arm at 3:15 has one end squarer than the other, it's the other end Wayne was working on.

Wayne, a thought to help you when you have any model upside down. A pile of the magazines that usually come with them would help support the model, so for example the bonnet [hood in the US] of a car or the cogs and spindles here. That should give you two hands free instead of one always supporting the model.

So are we going to be adding Makemake, Haumea, and Eris as well?

Doesn't look like it meshes smoothly Wayne?

If Pluto isn’t a planet how can Ceres be one?
