I liked the previous aesthetic better, I prefer the previous front grill and the old rings, also the new location of the front rings makes the design dirty.

WHY I WON’T BE BUYING THE NEW AUDI A3/S3! 🇩🇪

Since I passed my driving test almost ten years ago and A3/S3/RS3 has always been my REALISTIC dream car. However due to finances I have still got the same car I bought when I was 16 and that I learned to drive in.

The new shape A3/S3/RS3 is a car that I would LOVE to buy however I will not be due to one reason… the UK spec compared to the EU spec.

Looking at videos of the new shape A3 on YouTube, they just have such a better specification. Red diamond stitched seats, red stitching on the steering wheel, aluminium foot rests and Akrapovic exhaust option (S3). NONE of which is available to spec on the UK Audi configurator!

It may sound silly but when you are spending £30k plus on a “luxury” brand vehicle like an Audi, you want it to feel premium (particularly inside the cabin) and although they may be petulant little details to some people, I feel they all add up to make a MASSIVE difference!

I am very disappointed with Audi and I will be keeping my old sh*tbox unless they decide to improve the specification options on the new A3 series!

All round great car, no real major changes, though those wheels are not that great in design.

Top much everything. Missing essentials like manual gearbox and handbrake.

I wouldn't want to kerb those alloys. So, no flat bottom steering wheel and they've kept the terrible cheap plastics inside, along with the black piano trim. In my RS3 it's a nightmare to keep clean. At least the rubbish B&O is replaced with Sonus, which I suspect will also be poor. Don't like the new front end, prefer the current car. Else, not much to see here really. It's the RS3 facelift we're really waiting to see.

The reworked front end, especially the revised grille and side air intakes, look ugly & hence I prefer the earlier models in this regard. The rest of the car, however, looks good!

I have had 3 A3/S3`s in the past but i think the front end/nose redesign has ruined this car. Also jn Germany they are asking 70K for this car!! Plenty of other options for that sort of money.

How tf does this 2024 £50k plus car have a worse interior than an A6/E-Tron from 2019? all plastic and horrible, better off with a proper comfy sedan or SUV that's got 10k miles on it for half the price
