If you want european basketball to get better, you want players that are too good for it. They push the limits, they set the bar higher and thus improve it.

I can never get in Nunn's mind, I can never attempt to think how he might be thinking about the situation. But, from my perspective and if I was in his shoes, as far away from the truth as this may be, I'd basically be facing the two following options:
- Go back to the NBA and try to prove to everyone that I was worth playing in the NBA all along, but end up being just "another" NBA role player and having to coinflip my appearances based on if I perform well enough, alongside politics and what not.
- Stay in Europe (and if that happens, I cannot see him leaving Panathinaikos, unless something big happens internally) and become a legend. Just in his second year and he is already being considered as one of the greats.

Obviously, his dream is to make it in the NBA. Nothing wrong with that. It doesn't bother me as a PAO fan that his biggest dream is succeeding in the NBA. But alongside that dream, he is a winner. He wants to win and he wants the spotlight. Personally, I'm more of a Jerian Grant type of fan, as in an all-around machine on the court, but I cannot deny how much presence and impact Nunn has. If he stays here, he will always be remembered as a Euroleague legend, maybe THE Euroleague legend and will definitely get his banner up high in OAKA's sky, alongside legends like Diamantidis and Alvertis.

Obviously, to Americans, this probably doesn't mean much, since they probably don't follow the Euroleague or know the intricacies of what it means to be a EL legend, or even more so a Panathinaikos legend. At the end of the day, the love from the fans is one of the main things that makes these players become professionals. They love the spotlight, they love the love of the fans, they love the chants. They PERFORM for themselves, to prove they are good, so that they can get the appreciation of the fans. And there is no other place in the world that Nunn is ever gonna get such appeciation other than the greens.

I often wonder how much pain Panathinaikos may have caused you. But every time I find through your passion that it is really very big. See you in Abu Dhabi on the 8th.

Euroleague needs great players to bring the level up. Not all of our best players should go to the NBA

His jersey will be up to the OAKA roof next to the other banners because he is going to stay in Pana and dominates Europe for many years!

The difference is that in Europe, we play basketball. NBA is a show. There's no basketball. People just walk and shoot the ball. At least Nunn here can play basketball and show his skills..

He is not going to do you the favour. 😁☘

Maybe after 3 consecutive Euroleagues. Maybe we'll think about it.

Panathinaikos fan here, but lets behonest, the guy is an American and of course he wants to explore all the available options in the NBA, his home country!
It would be easier for him to move out if he played in another team, but Panathinaikos, both the organization AND THE FANS are making it very tough! He has a dream scenario here, he is worshiped as GOD, he plays elite basket in Euroleague (second to the NBA but still a big tournament) and he also loves his life here! Recently proposed to his fiancee in some cool Greek scenery, enjoying the family atmosphrere in Panathinaikos lockers...
Again, he is an american player, of course his main goal is to return to the NBA, but return as a second or third tier player, when here he showcases what he can do? He won't have that many opportunities in the NBA and he knows it! And if the contract he is offered is good enough (4+ mil per year) then why not?
We Panathinaikos fans understand who he is and respect it. It will hurt if he leaves but we will understand it. But if he chooses to stay, DAMN will he write some history in european basketball!
So Kendrick, if you read this, its one of the bunch in some mediocre NBA team, or the best of them all in Euroleague -again, not NBA, but also not that far from it... A god in Greece and Europe is not a small feat in life!
Think about it and STAY, and we will make sure you won't regret it!!!

By arguing that he's too good for the Euroleague i feel like you're just insulting the Euroleague. It doesn't exactly show any confidence or pride in European basketball if you say that kind of stuff.

Nunn is 6’2, he’s not a tall guard for NBA standards. I’ve been following Nunn since his Simeon days, I hope he comes back.

If you want to evaluate Nunn in terms of NBA, he is an undersized SG (only 6'2) that is an excellent scorer (when he plays alot of minutes and is the focal point of the team's offense), a below average creator and a mediocre defender at best. He is overconfident which leads to some amazing buckets but also to alot of bad shot selections and turnovers. Being really good in Euroleague is his ceiling and that is quite obvious in basketball terms.

A lot of Panathinaikos haters in here ..if someone has to much haters that means he's the best...like was Messi, Ronaldo and many others...at this moment Panathinaikos is like what is Real, Barcelona, Liverpool, Milan for football..its exactly the same brand for basketball...like it or not ☘️☘️☘️

NBA list him as 191 cm, Basketball Reference as 188 cm, Euroleague 195 cm :D

Crazy how he went from a solid bench player in the NBA to now the best player in the Euroleague in 2 years total.

NUNN STAYS IN PANA AND AND REMAINS THE BEST PLAYER IN EUROPE WHERE AL FANS SCREAM HIS NAME. DONT BE JEALOUS MAN THAT YOU WILL NEVER LIVE THAT GLORY.
WE WILL KEEP HIM HERE. GLORY IS MUCH HIGHER THAT MONEY. ALL EUROPE SCREAMING YOUR NAME SO LOUD HAS NOT A PRICE. AMERICANS FANS DONT HAVE PASSION, THEY JUST EAT POPCORN... SO BETTER A KING IN A ARENA OF LIONS THAN A PLAYER IN AN ARENA OF POPCORNS AND JELLY BELLIES

He ain't going anywhere. Panathinaikos is his home. NBA is soulless, Euroleague has outstanding fan base, tactics, combines team effort and personal prowess, on the contrary NBA is full of individual performance and "mercenaries". The only incentive is money, but there lies at the same time the snare. As we say in Greece is such circumstances; "Κοντός ψαλμός αλληλούια", which stands for "time will provide the answers". ☘️😎
