I’ve seen some say that Jamie and Sarah initially only spoke of having professionals handle Beth, so why John? The reason is that Sarah was set loose to regain the property for Market Equities, it’s her entire reasoning for getting close to Jamie, regardless of his battle with Beth. John being out of the way puts the land back in play, which was her only mission from the moment she got to Montana. I hate the show went down this route because of Costner, John deserved a better end with a more methodical amount of time to send the show off properly, but I’m praying Sheridan can pull this off.

Everyone knows that John would never off himself. Even if he's on a sinking, burning ship, he's the kind of man that just stands there and goes down with it. He'd never take the easy way out. Sarah only wants the land, it's been her entire mission from day one. Going after John opens that possibility up and she knows that Beth's hatred of Jamie will color her opinion of the situation, leaving the two of them to go at each others throats while they get he land. Problem is, Casey is a bit of a wild card here. Sarah, Jamie, all of them don't know what he's been up to. He's cemented his bond oath-wise with his wives family and the cause of keeping the land in tact, and Beth doesn't want the family to lose the land or the ranch or any of that. All of that pushes Casey right into Beth's camp, and he's the wrong person to be after you for any reason. It's gonna be interesting to see how this goes, to say the least!

Casey is not going to become unrecognizable. Casey has always been the most deadly when his family is threatened or attacked. He does not stop, he is fast, accurate, and deadly. He was a SEAL. Casey will be the most intact 'survivor' to ensure Tate is safe, and the union of White and Native American can fulfill the prophecy and protect the point of the entire collection of Land.

In his vision he said he had to choose between Monica and the ranch, I can't wait to see what happens.

Casey’s character is incredible. Impossible to believe. Stretches my suspension of disbelief. 😂

Anyone who knew John Dutton knows that he would not take his life.

It would kill Jamie if he landed in prison for 30 years like his biology dad. History repeating itself.

I've always felt sorry for the abuse Jamie has suffered, but at some point, you're responsible for yourself. He's made bad choice after bad choice, and this is entirely on him. That said, he is a product of his upbringing and in many ways the Duttons brought this particular evil on themselves.

Love the creativity of weaving an apparent suicide into the story. No other shows are so daring/creative. Now it is more than a land grab story.

People being negative about the first episode back is the very reason the show is good. They think they have it figured out and the episode was bad yada yada. But I’m reality you just simply don’t have it figured out. By the end of this season NOBODY will be able to predict it. Nobody will be bitching and complaining. Just sit back and enjoy. Taylor had been a genius and that hasn’t changed. I guarantee this show was as good as any episode we hav ever seen and if you think otherwise then you just don’t understand this show. It was super good. And I cannot wait for the next one

Im thinking they will throw us a twist and Jamie will turn on Sarah and market equities and join the family. I keep thinking about how the man in the room insisted she say i order the hit l, like it was recorded.

Unpopular opinion but at times I feel sorry for Jamie. This is one of those times. However I don’t think it will end well for him. Maybe they will have him redeem himself in the end.

I think the ranch one way or another will go back to the Native Americans. That would connect what was stated at the end of 1883.

Sarah, Ellis and Caroline from Market Equities had John Dutton whacked. Jamie mentioned having A hit on Beth, but never his father. Sarah will turn on Jamie and get him indicted.

They will all be dead at the end and Kaceys Son will take over Yellowstone

So the 6generation prophecy comes true

Sarah tells Jaime that she's the one who set everything up, and she took the risks for him. I'm paraphrasing. I don't remember the scene word for word.

Beth will never sell the property as her Daddy made her promise to never sell the land
