I have no idea who the soundtrack editor was, but they absolutely nailed this entire series!! The Taylor throwbacks and all the Olivia Rodrigo had me incredibly impressed with the editing team!

This trilogy was the HEART of my childhood book nerd years. I'm so psyched to see it FINALLY adapted into a full-length show. And, as much as it may sound insane for book lovers, I'm actually glad to hear that they did changes to the story. As much as I adore the books (and always will!), I can admit there are problematic aspects to the plot and characters from our modern-day perspective. And I LOVE seeing the story potential of these characters expanded on with some imagination and some (hopefully) character refining! I'm super excited to see what they've thought of and where they've taken this awesome trilogy!

Ooh okay so debutante plot was not in the book BUT - for some reason the trailer still sells the books! The chemistry, the friendship, the romance, the family elements are all still there. So my fingers are crossed and I bet this'll be an amazing tribute to the first book!!

Here's why the debutante thing could be a good thing. A debutante is, from what I'm told, when girls get dressed up in order to present themselves to society as a woman. Given this is when Belly "turns pretty" and becomes seen as an attractive young woman, this whole debutante thing is rather genius. Plus, Jenny Han was a showrunner for the show and even wrote the pilot herself. So I'm confident in this!

this show is pure nostalgia. I grew up having so much love for these books and this adaption is beyond fantastic. I laughed, cried, cheered and binged it all in a day. Cannot wait for season 2.

I had a blast working on this show as one of the crew members for season 1. In my 20-year career in the film industry only a handful of shows I've really enjoyed working is one of them.

If some of you are upset they made some changes, don't be! I think its a good idea so it won't be super predicatable, it will keep us on the edge of our seats and could fix some plot problems that the book had.

This book was the love of my heart in middle school, as nerdy as that sounds. I remember binge reading the entire trilogy within 3 days because the books belonged to my sister who was on a 4 day school trip and wouldn't let me touch any of her books at the time as she had a thing with having perfect books. So I took advantage of the opportunity though I feel guilty doing so since I should've respected her decision but I was in middle school and instead of stealing her clothes I stole her books LOL. The adrenaline, thrill and the terrific story plot of the books just made it such a memorable read. I'm overjoyed to see the summer series be produced into a film with, as I heard, new adaptations made to it to enhance the story. No better way to begin the summer but with the movie version of Jenny Hans summer series!!

Edit: I binged watched the entire series with my sister (who knows about the books now) and we also were able to drag our brother into watching it with us. We all absolutely love it.

This series is so beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing. Jeremiah and Conrad are so fine and the acting of every character....oh gosh! This is how I always imagined romcoms to be. Please watch it guys. You won't regret.
