I really, REALLY don't understand why companies put full-stack as like, entry level. That's a job you give to a long time veteran.

just got started learning fullstack, have a general and okay understanding of the terminologies and how the technologies work, even working with them. but I can't help but feel lost, my end-goal is being a software engineer, but learning react, JavaScript and css like this (learning webdev) honestly makes me feel like I'm learning the wrong thing

Im building projects that I am going to apply for front end roles, but i am including one project with a back end just to show that I do have a fundamental understanding, they do like it when front end guys have an understanding of how the backend works just because it makes it easier if you are developing the front end specifically for the backend, also I dont like backend, lol. Much rather be paid less doing something I enjoy than getting paid more doing something I dislike!

That's why i started to learn Unity and i've been a game dev for 3 years now. Why did i so ?
Game Dev technology stack is rock solid and not changing for years.
Just learn Unity, C# and some type of optimization tricks that's it then you can earn more than most front end devs. But the work is hard mind you.
