IPPS-A Small Talk | Awards, Workflows and the G1s

Have Division and Corps G1s been thinking about how they'll process MSMs and LOMs in IPPS-A? Many times these awards are reviewed by a number of people on the staff (G1 SGM, Dep G1, G1, SGS, XO, CoS, DCGs, CSMs and Commanders), many of whom are NOT Soldiers. G1s should consider building, testing and advertising their WorkFlow templates and other procedures for these awards-- not to mention the implied task of adding the DA CIV and CTRs into IPPS-A as POIs and getting them the training required in ELM.

Great comments about the MSMs and LOMs since it is a very different process in the IPPS-A environment and will include different personnel. It goes back to making sure our workflows are thought out and realistic. I believe establishing workflows is a great exercise outside of IPPS-A to review internal processes.
