Great tour of my favorite park! A couple tidbits of food advice to share for people who peruse the comments:
1. Oola bowls are incredibly good. On a hot summer day when you want to eat something that won't make you feel terrible, fruit and sherbet with delicious toppings is a great bet, and the price is reasonable too.
2. The Chocolatier is great, highly recommend, but you absolutely need a reservation for a table. They're booked solid all summer. However, if you're traveling in a small group and don't mind sitting at a bar, the bar is first come first serve and you can still order from the same food menu. Never hurts to walk upstairs and see if there's a couple stools open.
3. The fast-fill stations all have filtered water taps that are free (no scan required). The water tastes better and is much colder than the fountains near the restrooms.
4. Alex is right about Spring Creek Smokehouse. Definitely give it a try. The meats are good but not the best I've had, but the sides are surprisingly excellent. Like, 8-9 out of 10.

I’ve always loved Hershey Park. Been going there since the 80’s. Thank God it’s close to Maryland.

Thank you for such an amazing tour of Hershey Park! I used to live there and my parents took my siblings and I and our friends a couple of times. It was so much fun! I remembered it being much more colorful for some reason and the characters who were dressed like different Hershey items were walking about. I was surprised I didn't see any walking around as guests were enjoying the park, but when I had visited it was in the 90's. I really appreciate your attention to detail and all of your additional information. I've lived in Florida since 1997 and have never been back, but this brought me right back. Thanks again! 😊❤

This place was my first job. I worked at Minetown Restaurant from like 2012-2014. Amazing place to work, especially as a first job. Had 3 siblings work there too and my dad was security so we got free tickets a lot and I spent most of my summers here as a kid/teen.

The chocolate milk is the best deal in the park. protein, sugar, and hydration all in one bottle and it’s cheap!!

I grew up within 10 miles of here. I was taken to Hershey Park in the 1960's when it used the ticket system per ride. Because we lived close, we were there a lot. Plus, my parents loved the Comet. There was an actual zoo that you could walk along the sidewalk and see. (That had to go because of the '72 flood.) I remember several of these rides being a big deal. Sooper Dooper Looper...even had t-shirt saying I rode it. The Coal Cracker going in was a big deal, too. Kissing Tower was so cool when it debuted-it still is. All the newer coasters coming in. Watching the old water rides turning into Boardwalk was also a biggie. I could go on and on but I wanted to really say down by the Trailblazer where the Haunted House is used to be a petting zoo in the 70's. And there was a baby elephant that was so cute. His name was Albert. Just like my grandpa! (Who usually went there with us.)

Being from Pittsburgh, I always thought Kennywood was the bee knees (live in Dallas now and Six Flags is not as good). Hershey was NOT on the radar when I was growing up in the 80's, early 90's. But the next time i am home, WE ARE GOING. This place looks awesome! Great video!!!

I went on the sooper dooper looper when it first came out. It was a big deal and was heavily advertised. I got a t shirt that said I survived the sooper dooper looper. I thought I was so cool when I wore it to school after summer vacation 😂

We went to Hershey Park twice and had a tour of the Hershey factory. Both times were during the Christmas holiday season. Unfortunately never had the chance to get back there and go into the amusement park. I thought I read that Hershey Park closed(?) So glad that it didn't. Thanks for posting this video, it looks like an extremely good time!
