This video was uploaded to YouTube to accompany one of my blog posts at:

The video has no audio, and was just made to show my breadboarded z80 with address, data, & control signal displays running from the data on a randomly selected EPROM of unknown origin as a proof of concept. The original video was recorded September 28, 2019.

This is a nice, short video. I'm not sure by what you mean that it's running random data from the EPROM. Didn't you program that chip with something yourself? I was linked here from your "DIY 8 Bit Computer Series - Part 2" post on your blog. Maybe you can add a link in this video's description to that blog post you wrote.

You did a nice job wiring this board; it's easy to follow the wiring and its not a rat's nest.

When looking at this simple, wired-up breadboard with a Z80, it's easy to see how people in around 1980/1981 got so excited by the ZX80 and ZX80 computers. You could get a REAL computer with a keyboard! If you got a kit, then you could solder it together and-- if you sprung for the pre-assembled computer-- then you were good to go right out of the box.
