I have been sewing for at least sixty five years and have made every quilt shape and size but really have never thought of just sewing the whole fat quarters together. These would be so fast to make and good for nursing homes, picnics, toss about, naps the list goes on and on. Thanks for this quick quilt idea, yours is so cute. When I saw this I just had a duh moment, lol.

And I just have a singer sewing machine from Walmart so can't do a very big one. One day I'm hoping to afford a babaylock. Because you inspire me so much and that is what you have. This is a nice tutorial to show beginners how to use fat quarters to make a quilt. I love to sew and use fat quarters quite often but I hadn’t thought about using them like this to make a quilt.
