The Whitby Goth Weekend is a fascinating event that brings together a diverse mix of people who share a love for gothic culture, music, and fashion.

Held twice a year in the picturesque town of Whitby, North Yorkshire, this festival has grown from a small gathering into a major cultural event.

Always great to see Stephen and Hilary Draper (with Sid) at the Goth Festivals and the wonderful creations they bring, as well as themselves of course too. A great walk about and nice to see you also got to talk to some of the same people as me too. Never knew about the free Whitby parking over winter and as regards the Abbey steps, I am sure there are at least 300! Cheers Alan

I live in Guisborough and visit Whitby regularly. If you look at the steps you will see a little metal tag that tells you the number every 10 steps. Nice video and lovely people.

Hi David and Rachel a brilliant video as ever this week we love visiting Whitby especially seeing all the costumes on goth weekend the effort which is taken is outstanding isn’t it we have been at home this half term so haven’t been to my brothers so its great seeing the video! Apparently my 3rd great grandfather William Walker had the Elsinore back in the late 1800’s, I always enjoy a beer or two in there when visiting Whitby. Great pub!
