Julian quite the task master, to me it all sounded good, besides you always expect imperfections when going live, that’s what makes it special. I think Julian was fed up wth the band and the music they were playing more than anything, and was taking it out on Fab.

Can anyone explain to me what happened to the original video that user: thestrokes_archive uploaded about this performance? That one hugely known meme, where they break down each little interaction where Julian gets mad at Fab. That’s what got me into The Strokes and I find the video funny but I can’t seem to find it. They might have deleted it after (I’m assuming) the misinformation displayed in the video..? If anyone has answers that would be great, thanks.

Julian is a perfectionist, but it's kinda hypocritical on his part coz he always messes up and forgets the lyrics all the time on their concerts and his bandmates don't get angry at him, but if one of his bandmates messed up a little bit he gets mad 🙄😒
