commuter 2007 yamaha fz6 stripped for track, but with 'SW-MOTECH CRASH BARS ENGINE GUARDS' hit the curb at apex and took up all clearance.
You can see the puff of dust at the apex, then front tire is off the ground. Slide out (you can see my left arm get pulled). Guy behind target fixated either because it was so entertaining or he was following my line. He gets to the apex, straightens up to panic-break, locks his front wheel, compresses and saves high-side maybe, and barrels into the center of my back, ripping the speed hump out of my suit.

Went down at ~45? mph. Got hit when he was at ~30? mph?
hole was worn through the butt of my alpinestars missile aero suit (may have been reusable), but the speed hump got torn right out (probably not fixing it and buying something cheaper and a standalone back guard or an air vest.
Bike was fine, thanks and no thanks, to the cage on the engine block. Handlebars a little bent, brake lever bent, replaced footpeg, removed front fairing to convert to a naked. The most damage was to the right side of the subframe. The seat and under-seat exhausts are bent over a little, passenger handle broke off, and the tip-over sensor was bent in a bad position so I popped it open and used electric tape to disable it and put it back in its bent place. But the actual frame is fine so everything is good at speed.

Guy who hit me came and apologized, sent him the video. Got the bike back into the truck, iced the living crap out of my back cuz that hurt the worst. Got home and couldnt roll over in bed or get out of it without my gf rolling me over. Next morning, back felt much better, wrist was good and swollen, still hard to recline bc of back but all good. That night I took as hot of a shower and bath as I could stand, loosened up my wrist and back, and was able to gently hang and dip on a bar. Progressively getting better 1.5 weeks in.

Dianese full metal gloves, X-14 helmet, Forma Ice pro flow boots-all held up and did their job as far as I can tell.

Converting my fz6 to a stunter/commuter. putting a New Breed Fz6 cage on most likely bc the cage I have gets in the way of the oil filter for oil changes. Getting a dedicated track bike sometime soon. Probably an R6, but I'll take whatever. I'm janky.
