Honestly I feel like the violent cycle of revenge would make for a pretty good theme and plot for a TMNT show.

It could also help show that Splinter has a darker side and isnt a complete paragon. Like he also had a dark motive for why he trained his turtle sons in the art of being ninjas. He wanted them to assassinate the killer of his owner.

The funny thing is, it sounded like Nagi was originally going to be a part of the 1990 film, too. A novelization of the film included the Yoshi-Shen-Nagi love triangle, and having read that first, I was surprised when I later saw the film and he wasn't there! LOL
